Hertfordshire's leading Dog Behaviourist

Meet the Team!

Rossway DTS is owned and run by Pete Ross... Pete

...with more than a little help from Christine Ansell Chris

A brief history of Time, the Universe and Rossway

Pete's vocation was starting to show at an early age - at 7 years old he'd successfully trained the family dog! This developed throughout his life and led to Pete achieving Working Trials Championship with his GSD Pacer. During his career Pete has attended numerous Instructor's courses and is familiar with all the current methods of training.

Pete says of himself that one of the keys to his success is that he understands how a dog is thinking. You'll believe it too if you see him in action with some of his difficult customers! Pete has a proven track record with all types of dog, refusing to specialise in the 'easy' breeds. The family currently owns 2 German Shepherds (one male, one female), one Jack Russell Terrier, a Yorkshire Terrier Cross and most recently a Black Labrador. Of the five, three are rescue dogs.

Pete took over the current premises in 2000 and it has become a thriving business and centre of excellence, fully backed by the Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and recommended by the RSPCA Blackberry Farm Animal Centre. Central to this success are Pete's knowledge and expertise and his hands-on approach.
One of the side effects of the success has been a substantial growth and Pete now regularly works with Christine whom he originally trained as an instructor.
