We offer everything you need for training your dog, be it basic puppy training, adult training, behavioural issues, gundog training, or competitive areas. We offer group classes on site and one-to-one lessons either on-site or, if you're within our catchment area, in your own home. Consultation for behavioural problems is gladly undertaken and we have a 100% success rate. Please contact us for details. Our FacilitiesWe are proud of our facilities which are among the best in the South East of England. The hall is heated for your comfort and carpeted for your dog's safety. General Class InformationClasses are informal and fun for you and your dog. Training your dog actually takes place 24/7, so each week you'll be given homework which reinforces the lessons. We'll know who has and hasn't done it in the next class! There are 4 obedience levels which you and your dog can achieve in class:
All obedience classes include agility. Further levels of training to championship level are available:
These are generally on a one-to-one basis. This is no empty sales pitch - Pete has been there! Our instructors are approachable and always happy to answer any questions that arise in class. In some cases we are happy to allow youngsters to train the dogs in class, by previous agreement. A responsible adult must be present. Various information sheets can be purchased on joining the school. At present we have:
with more planned for the future. Proceeds from these sales go to charity: Chiltern Dog Rescue Centre and RSPCA Blackberry Farm Dog Rescue Centre. You can purchase all equipment needed from the school at reduced prices. Puppy ClassesPuppy classes are the best way to start your puppy's life. They are held on-site and provide a safe and sure way to socialise your puppy. For the health of your puppy and everyone else's, we will need to see proof of vaccinations. Continuity is very important to your puppy's successful training and socialisation so please plan to attend all sessions without a break. At the end of the 10-week course you will be assessed and (if you've done your homework!) receive
your coveted certificate.
You and your puppy will then be upgraded to the next class. Adult ClassesAdult classes are the next step up in your dog's training. They are held on-site. In the same way as puppy classes, you will be assessed at various stages and if you and your dog can demonstrate
your abilities, you'll be awarded your certificate. One to OneWe recognise that some people can't attend classes for various reasons, either personal, or because of your dog's behaviour.
Maybe you're training to competition or championship level and want to acheive the best for your dog. Whatever the reason, we offer one-to-one lessons where you get our undivided attention. It's possible for two to share a one-to-one session in some circumstances. This can be a big advantage to certain types of training, as well as reducing your costs! Please contact us for more information.

What next?Well, come and meet us! For the puppy classes we invite you to a FREE induction session which allows you to make an informed decision. Puppy stays at home for this one so you can take it all in and talk to us without distraction. We'll tell you how we train, and why we do the things we do. These take place on alternate Tuesday evenings at 8:00pm. Please contact us to find out when the next one is. Promise it won't be a sales session! For adult training of any sort, you'll need an assesment session (charged at normal rate) so we can advise your best course of action. Interested? Contact us and we'll make an appointment. If you fill out our form and bring it along with your vaccination certificate you can join up straight away! Home |
